Stairs





STAIRS PROJECT #1

Due Date: FRIDAY 11/12/10 (at the start of class)

Directions:

Using the internet collect one picture of each of the seven stair styles and write 2-3 sentences describing each.

Straight run stairs- One continuous set of stairs usually with walls on both sides.

L-stairs- Used for smaller space  connecting two  straight run stairs.

Double L-stairs Two platforms connecting multiple straight run sets  easier for moving items up and down.

U-stairs Less space mid level of cost and a single platform.

Winder stairs Used for smaller save but stairs are more dangerous and smaller.

Spiral stairs Much smaller space  Expensive and lot more dangerous.

Circular stairs Very expensive very unique and just not particle.
